This is a breeding we have been planning and looking forward to for quite a few years! Vesta is a bi black/tan dual female with a very level headed temperament. She is a coy but confident, tall girl with great bone, a lovely head and very well set ears. She is sensitive to correction and a very middle ground dog. She loves to join me on adventures and hikes but also will lounge around in the house all day and cuddle when it suits her needs. She is absolutely a fan favorite in our program and produced a wonderful litter across the board in November of 2024. We have really loved watching her first litter grow in their homes and have been impressed with their height and consistently friendly and funny temperaments.

Chancellor was a lovely brown sable male who consistently produced very stocky puppies with great heads and small ears. He had a calm, one might say royal presence, and was loved by all who knew him. He had a confident, stoic vibe and took things as they came.

We are hoping this combination will bring confident, handler focused but stoically aloof temperaments that don’t necessarily require attention from others but have no issues receiving it or being handled. We should see great bone, blockier heads, small ears, strong dense bodies and level movement. We are expecting variations in pigments, both duals and sables. There is a possibility of black puppies being produced as well as both carry the recessive and have expressed it.

There is likely low availability for this litter but depending how many are born there may be a few available. We are likely going to be seeking a male placement for a mentorship opportunity (info on our website in regards to that program).

Portia was our keeper from our Bella/Steele pairing and was the International Shiloh Shepherd Dog Club “Puppy of the Year” for 2023! She has a very strong look and presence, very dense body and wonderful flowing strong movement.  While she is not excessively tall, she makes up for it in substance and has a very muscular frame. She has a feminine head, strong ears and a very quirky vibrant personality. She loves to play and run but does have an off switch and can settle. She is very sensitive to correction and has a strong willingness to please but is a dog who needs structure and mental stimulation. She is more “drivey” than some of my other dogs but in a very fun and not overbearing way.

Maverick is a brown sable plush boy who has consistently produced good bone, head and size in his litters with very stable temperaments. He is a very laid back and easy going guy and has been described as a gentleman type.

We are expecting an array of duals and sables from this breeding and are hopeful for bigger heads, keeping the nice ears and more middle ground goofy temperaments. We are hoping to bring more height as well which is likely with the lines behind Portia being taller as well.

We will likely have some availability in this litter depending how successful we are with the breeding!

Future Plans

Fall 2026: Potential Upcoming Female First Litter

Stud Sired Litters

Stud sired litters are litters produced using one of our boys, but are being raised with other breeders. Occasionally we will have a puppy available from these litters once they reach 8 weeks old!

We have a few potential Stud Sired litters coming up, stay tuned!…

All interested please fill out a puppy application and read over our puppy process below.

Stayed tuned to our Facebook page for the latest updates!

To be considered for a future puppy read over our NewMoon Puppy Process below and complete a puppy application.

NewMoon’s Puppy Process

First and foremost, we do not wish to end contact with our puppies when they go home. We vow to be there for our puppies throughout their lives and will always be a phone call away. We want our puppy families to feel like just that, family. And wish to maintain contact throughout your puppies life (and possibly beyond!).

To be considered for a NewMoon Shiloh puppy, you first must fill out a puppy application in full. We will then contact prospective owners and see if it is a good fit for both parties. We are more than happy to point you in the right direction if we don’t have what you are looking for.

After application is complete and contact is made, potential owners will be placed on the list for upcoming litters if room is available. No puppies will be gaurenteed until the litter is born. Once puppies are born we will contact people on our list and send out contracts to look over, at which time a refundable deposit of $500 (payment method to be determined individually) must be placed to solidify your spot for a puppy. We understand that life happens and plans can often come unraveled so we never wish to make you feel trapped with your decision to place a deposit on a puppy. The rest of the puppy payment amount will be due at or the week before pickup pending payment method. If for any reason you are unable to complete your plan to get a puppy from said litter, your deposit can be transferred to another litter under breeders discretion. Please note we are a small breeding program, so we don’t typically have litters on a consistent basis.

At 6-7 weeks old, puppies will be placed through LER testing (a puppy evaluation process). At that time decisions will be made by Amanda as to which puppy is going to what family. This is a hard wait for new puppy owners, however the process is highly beneficial. You will be matched with the best possible puppy for your specific needs.

We will post weekly photos to our facebook page as well as impromptu photos of the litter as they grow. Puppies will go through Puppy Culture, be socialized and desensitized to multiple stimuli, and begin crate/potty training before going to their new homes at 8 weeks. Puppies will also come with first shots, microchip, health certificate and deworming records.

We require all new puppy owners to pick up their puppy at our home in Northeast PA. If you have any further questions about the puppy process feel free to give us a call or send us an email!
