Portia is our keeper out of our Bella/Steele breeding. She is a 3rd generation female from our original foundation girl Nova Mae. Portia (informally known as Beanie) is one of our most athletic dogs, she is well balanced with powerful movement and highly agile. If we had more time to devote she would thrive in tasks such as rally/obedience and fast cat. While she is a ball fiend and highly athletic, she is very well balanced in that she is a completely relaxed girl in the home. Much like her housemate Iris, she was a true natural in the confirmation show ring and takes her job very seriously at shows. She was awarded TSSR Puppy of the Year in 2023 and achieved her breed championship at 3 after taking a few years off from showing. Portia has always been naturally careful around the puppies and enjoys being a nanny when they are of age to start playing. We look forward to seeing what she produces and all she achieves!
